Clay cookware is a natural, handcrafted product. Proper care and usage are essential to ensure durability, safety, and best cooking results. Please follow this guide carefully.

1. Before First Use

For Non‑Seasoned Clay Pots

  • Wash the pot gently with plain water to remove any dust

  • Allow it to air dry completely

  • Season the pot as per the seasoning instructions provided

  • Start with low flame for the first few uses

For Seasoned Clay Pots

  • No additional seasoning is required

  • Rinse lightly with water and air dry before first use

2. Cooking Guidelines

  • Always start cooking on low flame

  • Gradually increase to medium flame only

  • Do not use on high flame

  • Use wooden, silicone, or non‑metal ladles

  • Suitable for gas stove and traditional burners

  • Not suitable for induction stoves

3. Temperature Handling (Very Important)

  • Never place a hot clay pot on a cold or wet surface

  • Do not add cold water or ingredients to a hot pot

  • Avoid sudden temperature changes at all times

Sudden temperature changes may cause cracks and are not covered under replacement.

4. Cleaning Instructions

  • Allow the pot to cool completely before washing

  • Hand wash gently using plain water

  • Do not use soap, detergent, or dishwasher

  • Use a soft scrub if required

  • Air dry completely before storage

5. Storage Guidelines

  • Ensure the pot is completely dry before storing

  • Store in a dry, ventilated area

  • Do not stack heavy items on top of the pot

6. What Is Not Covered

The following are not eligible for replacement or refund:

  • Cracks due to high flame usage

  • Damage caused by sudden heating or cooling

  • Improper seasoning or care

  • Normal wear and tear from regular use

7. Important Notes

  • Minor variations in colour, texture, and thickness are natural in handcrafted clay cookware

  • Over time, clay pots develop better cooking performance with proper care
